Strategy to Host Live Retail Investor Q&A Featuring Michael Saylor
Strategy Inc. (MSTR) announced on May 11, that it will host a live question-and-answer session for retail investors featuring co-founder and Executive Chairman Michael Saylor and Chief Executive Officer Phong Le. The event is the company’s first publicly scheduled retail engagement format since its bitcoin accumulation pace accelerated in early 2026.
Strategy holds more than 818,000 Bitcoin (BTC), making it the largest corporate holder of the asset globally.
What the Event Covers
The live Q&A was announced through a Business Wire release filed May 11. The release describes Strategy as “the world’s first and largest Bitcoin Treasury Company.” No specific date for the session was listed in the initial filing.
The format gives retail shareholders direct access to Saylor, who has become the most visible corporate advocate for bitcoin as a primary treasury reserve asset.
Saylor’s public statements on bitcoin pricing and accumulation strategy routinely move market sentiment. Le has handled day-to-day operations while Saylor focused on capital markets and advocacy work.
Background
Strategy, formerly known as MicroStrategy, began purchasing bitcoin in August 2020 under Saylor’s direction as an inflation hedge against cash holdings.
The company has since built its entire identity around bitcoin accumulation, raising equity and convertible debt to fund continued purchases. In early 2026, the company rebranded to Strategy to reflect that identity shift.
A separate signal from May 11 indicated Strategy purchased an additional $43 million in bitcoin, lifting total holdings past 818,000 BTC.
At bitcoin’s current price near $81,700, those holdings carry a market value above $66 billion. The company’s stock has historically tracked bitcoin closely, giving retail investors indirect exposure to BTC price moves through a Nasdaq-listed equity.
The retail Q&A format is a deliberate outreach effort.
Retail ownership of MSTR shares surged during 2024 and 2025 as bitcoin ETFs expanded public awareness of the asset class.

What to Watch
The event’s specific date and platform will determine how broad its reach becomes. If broadcast through retail brokerage apps or mainstream financial platforms, it could draw first-time buyers.
If limited to existing shareholder channels, the audience is narrower. Saylor’s willingness to engage live questions on pricing targets and debt capacity will be the critical variable for market reaction.
