AMC Robotics Names HIVE Digital as AI Infrastructure Partner
AMC Robotics named HIVE Digital (HIVE) as its AI infrastructure partner in its first quarter 2026 earnings results, published May 19 via GlobeNewswire. The disclosure positions HIVE Digital as a compute backbone for AMC Robotics’ AI deployment and future scaling plans.
The partnership is the first publicly confirmed enterprise AI contract for HIVE’s high-performance computing business.
The Partnership Details
AMC Robotics, a robotics and automation company, said in its Q1 2026 financial results that it “strengthened our AI infrastructure through our partnership with HIVE Digital, positioning us to support future development and deployment at scale.” The statement did not specify contract value, duration, or which HIVE computing facilities will serve the relationship.
HIVE Digital, founded in 2017 as one of the first publicly listed cryptocurrency miners, has repositioned its business around high-performance computing through its BUZZ HPC subsidiary. The AMC Robotics contract is the kind of enterprise anchor relationship that HIVE has been pursuing as it moves away from pure cryptocurrency mining revenue.

Background
HIVE Digital accelerated its pivot toward AI compute capacity from 2024 onward, citing margin compression in cryptocurrency mining and growing enterprise demand for GPU clusters.
The company operates data centers in Canada, Sweden, and Iceland, giving it a geographically distributed compute footprint. On May 19, HIVE separately announced a 320 MW sovereign AI campus in the Greater Toronto Area through BUZZ HPC, suggesting the company is pursuing both large-scale infrastructure buildout and enterprise customer acquisition in parallel.
The AMC Robotics disclosure is notable because it confirms at least one paying enterprise client is already attached to HIVE’s AI compute offering, ahead of the Toronto campus coming online.

What to Watch
The AMC Robotics disclosure gives HIVE a reference customer in the robotics sector, a market expected to scale AI inference workloads as autonomous systems proliferate. Investors will watch for additional enterprise contract disclosures in HIVE’s upcoming earnings, and for whether the company provides revenue attribution between its legacy mining and HPC segments.
The scale of AI workloads that AMC Robotics plans to deploy through HIVE will determine whether this partnership becomes a material revenue contributor or remains a proof-of-concept relationship.
