Editorial Standards
Nonce Media follows the editorial standards described below across all news coverage, research, and educational content. These rules are written into our publishing system and enforced by automated validators before publication.
Sourcing
Every news story published on Nonce Media is built from primary sources where available. Our source priority is:
- Primary sources: regulator filings, official company press releases, on-chain transaction data, court records, and source documents.
- Tier 1 outlets: Reuters, Bloomberg, Financial Times, CNBC, Wall Street Journal, BBC, and similar publications of record.
- Specialist outlets: established crypto industry publications when reporting first-party investigations.
We do not republish content from competitor crypto outlets. When a story originates from a tier-1 outlet’s exclusive reporting, we attribute the original publication by name in our coverage and link to the source.
Verification
Every claim of fact in a Nonce Media story is checked against the cited source before publication. Cross-source verification is required for breaking news affecting prices, regulatory decisions, or security incidents.
We do not publish anonymous tips, rumors, or unverified social media claims as fact. Speculative coverage is clearly labeled as analysis or opinion.
Corrections
When we identify a factual error in published content, we correct the story and add a correction notice at the bottom of the article describing what was changed and when. Significant corrections are also noted at the top of the affected article.
To report an error, email [email protected] with the story URL and the issue. We respond to verified correction requests within 48 hours.
Conflicts of Interest
Nonce Media writers are required to disclose any direct financial interest in tokens, projects, or companies they cover. We do not accept gifts, paid trips, or compensation from subjects of editorial coverage.
Our parent company and affiliated entities may hold positions in digital assets covered by our reporting. Material conflicts are disclosed in the relevant article.
AI and Automated Tooling
Nonce Media uses AI-assisted research and drafting tools as part of our editorial workflow. All published content is reviewed against our editorial standards before going live. AI-generated drafts are treated as starting points subject to the same sourcing, verification, and accuracy requirements as any other content.
Paid Content
Sponsored articles and press release placements are clearly labeled with a “Sponsored” or “Press Release” tag at the top of the article. Paid content is not included in our news category feeds and does not appear in Google News. Editorial decisions about news coverage are made independently of commercial relationships.
