Eightco Holdings Reports $340 Million Portfolio Including OpenAI Stake and 11,000 ETH
Eightco Holdings (ORBS) disclosed a total portfolio valued at approximately $340 million on May 13, including a private equity stake in OpenAI, 11,068 Ethereum (ETH), and roughly $283 million in Worldcoin (WLD) tokens. The company also holds approximately $129 million in cash and stablecoins.
The disclosure makes Eightco one of the more diversified AI-and-cryptocurrency treasury holders among public companies trading on U.S. exchanges.
What the Disclosure Covers
A PR Newswire release published May 13 lists four core holdings. The OpenAI stake and an investment in Beast Industries, the company associated with content creator MrBeast, round out the AI and media exposure. Ethereum (ETH) is held directly, priced using Coinbase (COIN) spot rates as of May 10.
WLD tokens account for the largest single position by dollar value at roughly $283 million.
Background
Eightco Holdings began life as a consumer products and e-commerce company before pivoting toward digital assets and AI equity. The company trades on the Nasdaq under the ticker ORBS.
Its shift toward cryptocurrency and private AI equity mirrors a broader trend among small-cap public companies building mixed treasury strategies. That strategy has attracted comparisons to the playbook used by larger firms that anchor portfolios around a single flagship asset.
Eightco’s approach differs in that it spans multiple assets and two distinct sectors, AI equity and blockchain tokens, rather than concentrating in one.

What Comes Next
Eightco has not specified whether additional purchases are planned or whether any positions are subject to lock-up periods. The WLD position is large enough that token price moves could shift the reported portfolio value materially.
Investors will watch whether the company provides audited valuations for the private OpenAI stake in future filings. No earnings call date has been disclosed alongside this report.
