Linkage Global Changes Nasdaq Ticker to UZX After DAO Foundation Transaction
Linkage Global announced May 15 that it will change its Nasdaq ticker symbol to UZX following a completed transaction with UZX DAO Foundation, the company said in a GlobeNewswire release. The filing says the new ticker will take effect on a date to be confirmed by Nasdaq.
Linkage Global said the transaction reflects a strategic repositioning toward blockchain and digital asset infrastructure.
What the Ticker Change Signals
The company’s announcement describes UZX DAO Foundation as an entity with strategic operations linked to financial services, citing partnerships including Coinbase, Binance, Morgan Stanley, Amazon, and Google as part of its operational network. Nonce Media could not independently verify the nature or scope of those relationships from the release alone.
A DAO, or decentralized autonomous organization, is a governance structure in which decisions are made through on-chain token voting rather than a traditional board of directors. Linkage Global said the transaction gives it access to UZX DAO Foundation’s infrastructure and expertise in financial risk management.
The company did not disclose the financial terms of the deal in the release.

Background
Nasdaq-listed companies adopting crypto-linked identities and pivoting their corporate strategies toward blockchain have become a recurring pattern since 2020. Several small-cap firms have changed their names, tickers, or stated business models to reflect digital asset ambitions, sometimes attracting regulatory scrutiny from the SEC regarding disclosure adequacy.
Linkage Global previously operated under a different strategic focus before this transaction. The UZX DAO Foundation is not a widely covered entity in major financial media.
The combination of a Nasdaq listing and a DAO affiliation places Linkage Global in an unusual position where traditional shareholder governance requirements and decentralized governance structures may overlap in ways regulators have not fully addressed. Bitcoin exchange supply data published in a Nonce piece this week shows broader institutional interest in digital assets reaching new highs.

What to Watch
The effective date of the ticker change has not been set as of May 15.
Investors holding the current Linkage Global shares should expect Nasdaq to issue a formal notice before the transition occurs. The SEC may request additional disclosure on the terms of the DAO transaction, particularly if UZX Foundation token economics are involved.
Any secondary token issuance tied to the Nasdaq entity would likely trigger securities review.
